  1. Describe current knowledge gaps in the epidemiology, risk factors, and clinical outcomes of steatotic liver disease among LGBTQ+ populations, with attention to gender-diverse individuals.
  2. Recognize unique contributors to SLD risk and care disparities in LGBTQ+ communities, including minority stress, social determinants of health, barriers to affirming care, and limited representation in liver disease research.
  3. Identify practical opportunities to improve SLD care and research for gender-diverse patients, including inclusive sexual orientation and gender identity data collection, affirming clinical communication, and equitable study design.
